Our Origin Story
Many of our customers choose our team because of our sterling reputation, which we’ve earned throughout our more than 20 years in the business! We are a local, family-owned business that was established in 1996 by our founder, Steve. From the moment Steve first picked up a cleaning wand, he discovered a passion for helping local families save money by extending the life of their carpets. Steve went on to earn his IICRC certification as a Master Cleaner. This is a distinguished designation which reflects his commitment to giving his customers the best possible services. After he met and married his wife, Jan, the duo founded Big Red Carpet Cleaning together. Today, Jan runs our office and looks after our office dog, Buddy (who is also our resident expert on urine odors), while Steve interacts directly with customers and works as part of the cleaning crew.
