How Can I Remove Pet Urine Odors Out of My Carpet?

2. Pour 3% Hydrogen Peroxide to the area where the urine was. This is the common type of peroxide you find at the drug or grocery store in the first aid department.  It DOES NOT contain a bleaching agent so it is safe to pour on your carpet!
3. For best results, do not blot to absorb the peroxide, but rather, apply a clean, clear piece of plastic (a plastic sandwich bag works great!) over the peroxide. Secure with a book or another similar item for 6-8 hours.  The peroxide will convert to water in that time and will neutralize the pet urine odor and stain.
