We are an owner-operated, family business that was born in 1996. Steve was hooked once he picked up a cleaning wand and began helping his childhood friend Pat. Steve soon discovered he loved being in the community he grew up in, helping clients preserve their carpet and ultimately save them money.  With a goal to learn as much as he could about the industry, he earned his IICRC certification as a Master Cleaner, a designation reserved for the best in the industry. Along the way, he met and married Jan, another Santa Clarita native, and soon after, they became sole owners of Big Red Carpet Cleaning company in Santa Clarita. While we have added employees and vans through the years, Steve still enjoys running a van and continues to be a very involved, hands-on owner. Jan prefers to stay more behind the scenes handling the administrative activities and being Dog Mom to Buddy, Big Red's resident "pet urine specialist."
